The Chevy Silverado 1500 is a full-size pickup truck that is available in regular, double, and crew cab models — each available with either a standard box or long box bed. The Silverado has long been known for being powerful. Even the base model boasts a standard 4.3L V6 EcoTec3 engine featuring active fuel management and variable valve timing mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Depending on your towing and hauling needs, larger and more powerful engines are available, such as a 6.2-liter V-8 engine that produces 420 hp with 450 lb.-ft. of torque.
